Dr David Escamilla-Guerrero

David Escamilla-Guerrero is an Assistant Professor of Economics at the University of St Andrews. He received his PhD from The London School of Economics and was a Rokos Junior Research Fellow at Oxford (Pembroke College) before moving to St Andrews. His research interests include Economic History, Development, and Labor Economics. David uses historical microdata and natural experiments of history to study diverse topics on migration economics. He also explores how historical events shape long-run development patterns.
