Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship awarded to Professor Sheilagh Ogilvie

Sheilagh Ogilvie, Chichele Professor of Economic History, has been awarded a Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship from 2024 to 2027. The Leverhulme Major Research Fellowship is awarded to distinguished researchers in the humanities and social sciences. Professor Ogilvie will use her three-year fellowship to carry out a long-planned research project on “Serfdom and Economic Development, c. 1000 – 1861”.
